Haven't seen many people posting, so here's my quick first take:

Received it back on Friday - unfortunately, no Receptor Tools 1.3 disc was included, which you need for the new OS, so I could not dive right in and start reloading my software and samples. Kevin from Muse said he'd email me both the mac and PC versions - but in the meantime, a list member was kind enough to forward me the Mac version. Thanks again!!!!!!

So in a nutshell: I am glad I upgraded. I can now play the full version of The White Grand by Sampletekk using DFD at 64 sample latency using the 3rd party Sympathetic resonance script without clicks or pops, even doing glissandos up and down while pumping the sustain pedal as a torture test. This to me is a MUCH better live piano than Ivory, and I am very pumped about it.
Additionally, the full 24 bit Scarbee electric pianos are child's play for the Receptor now using DFD. I used to use 16 bit lite versions completely loaded into RAM, but that is no longer necessary. This means I can now use multiple sample intensive patches in a Snapshot, and that they load ever so much faster, because they are not loading 1+ gigs of samples into RAM.

So if you are on the fence, and your needs are similar to mine, you should do it. I would also think it would be worth it for someone using Uniwire and running many instruments at once, but I cannot speak directly to that. I use it to play one instrument at a time live.

To speak to the fan issue reported elsewhere - yes, it is louder than my REV B was. There is a whine (a G two octaves above middle C). It would be a hassle if it was in a room with live mics while recording. For playing out, not so much.
If you are planning on your Receptor being exclusively a studio instrument, you should get the studio fan option mentioned in the "fan" thread.

Nice first/quick report. I'm sure others found it useful as well. My upgrade plans are on hold but I'll reference this and any other followups you have for sure until I do go for it.
