A mixerstrip uses a 'panel', which is a combi of a picture and an XML file i.e. AudioMixerStrip.Png and AudioMixerStrip.Xml.
Hope this helps, else let me know!

hell i may as well keep going with this question and save us both some time
I noticed that there are what appears to be actually 4 button states (well, going off of the default panel graphic that is, don't actually know the program all that well yet just made the switch) for the slots... could you explain how that portion of the skin works. sorry if it's obvious i'm not running at full speed here the last week has been really draining.

thanks, I can't find the graphic files, where are they located? judging from the xml file on the panel i'm guessing the ones in the graphic are just for show as i don't see any hotspots.

ModularRack has become obsolete.
When you double-click a rack in the MPA, FullRack will be used.

@ theorize
right-click somewhere between the main menu and the transport panel (somewhere above the composer and between the different panels) - in the context menu you find "reset skin resources"! And thats it!! ^^
