Ok Cool,why the switch to Cubase? I use logic but i do like the way cubase quantize's grooves..I have been looking for a groove template of 1/16 62 to 64 % swing..setting from cubase..can you help..?thanks

iv'e used cubase for 21yrs and i made a bad mistake and switched to sonar 8pe..problems everywhere..a moment of madness hehe..
now if anyone wants to buy sonar 8pe 8.3 cheap it's brand new NFR in the box hehe..

Hence i couldn't even make a proper mp3 demo of my soundbank at the time with all the problems i was having with sonar 8.2 etc.

Cubase has done me well for as long as i can remember so i'll never do a stupid switch again..costly mistake..iv'e got expensive software just shelved for life because it's NFR.

Hi there here are 2 Pad Patches for Sylenth 1.
Iv'e created these to sound similar to the sounds on my jv2080 expansions.
Please contact me if you would like to see more pads or whatever else in my future sound banks.

Here's another along with an mp3 demo you can hear the example of this pad in production..There are NO external Fx in this preset..Everything is Sylenth sequenced in Cubase 5.1 and exported directly to mp3.

Pretty much all sounds in that track are heavily sidechained. For the bass you can try 216: BS Reese Bass 2 from FactoryBank1. To get the sidechain effect just use a sidechain compressor.

Nice presets Lennard..I hooked that one up to a compressor with sidechain in Cubase and it's perfect.
Also you can get the same kind of effect if you assign the volume control of the parts to the lfo to duck the sound in/out.

Hey Rob, I had to drop you some kudos on these Sylenth1 patches mate....

I must say the "JV2080 Orchestral Exp Pad" is sounding mighty fine...

192 sublime preset sounds for Sylenth1 plus all these extras you've been throwing in on top, nice. You've got Sylenth1's sound designing "tenet" sussed(?)....

Hi Lennard,

I've gotta tell you, you've honed the "Radioactive" bass patch for Sylenth1 just right. I tried adding just a touch of the (built-in) distortion to the (internal) FX chain and whoa! this patch most certainly "radiates" thru' any mix.... Did I hear Trance?
