Currently my workaround is to put a working mono->stereo plugin like some UAD EQ before Uhbik.Urs wrote:Is there a chance to make a mono track a regular stereo track first in DP?

Hi,
I'm just uploading a new version...
phab found out that X and Y are both 2, hence a mono->stereo plugin gets 2 inputs in DP, which is a bit odd. Hence I'm uploading a new version that adds a "mono-surround" mode which only takes the left input and distributes it among as many output channels as there are, possibly leaving C and Lfe untouched:

(same location as above)
Cheers,
Urs

Unfortunately no effect. Effects are still in the left channel only. Uhbik-G crashed the MOTU AU examiner. I can send you the crash log, just tell me where.Urs wrote:Hi,

I did however manage to get UHBIK-G going.. It crashed first few times on AU examiner.. It even somehow changed the name of the componant file to "UHBIK 23-23-50.componant"..
I then put the old componant file back in and everything went back to normal.. I tried reinstalling again and somehow UHBIK-G now works... Couldn't tell you exactly how I did it though!
Try swapping the old and new componant files around a few times...
Also, UHBIK-G crashed DP the first time I used it. It crashed when I shut the GUI window....
I tried it a few more times afterwards with no more crashes though.. Great fun this one

Uhm... Uhbik-G isn't even in beta stage yet, it's only in there because I've been showing it on Musikmesse...
So yeah... hmmm... DP *does* do some strange stuff then. I need to contact MotU about this. I'll als examine the other AUs and see what they do on a mono-stereo track.
So for now please use any simple mono-stereo effect in front of Uhbiks...
