bmrzycki wrote:when I view KVR with a regular power cable it looks ok, but then when I plug in a Silent Source Signature Ceramic Power Cord on my PC it looks like crap in comparison...

why does my ceramic power cord make KVR look so alive vs regular copper, batteries etc? whats the magic pixy dust really? really trying to kick my ceramic cord habit, but cant do it.

radio shack? energizer? anyone everyone?

why do ceramic cables make KVR look so organic and alive? and why cant copper cables do this? what type of materials are we talking about here?

okay... you really just proved to us that you have no life.

Slightly OT but this was really interesting: http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/20 ... t-vir.html

Thanks, there is a little "love" lost in translation from hardware to software. But really? Software simulations of sound are almost every bit as good as hardware and certainly more flexible. It's all about workflow. There are kids out there rockin it on the casio. Happy , and making great music.

Stop being angry about having your hardware dissed on a software forum. If you want some serious gear porn, go to matrixsynth

I agree, the love is lost in translation.. ultimately I wish for a software version of the virus... for workflow.. automation, and portability. And yes you can make music with everything... i am just certain the virus has the potential more than any other synth bring amazement to your senses..

Why is it that all patches for virtual synths that contain the word "virus" sound like shit?
