Hi. Sorry for my english first.
Mdrummer is perfect product for musicians. I can make with rhytms what i want and i don't need to search new loops and grooves - i make them. Thanks a lot to meldaproduction.
But I have one problem - after freezing (or disconnecting) mdrummer in sonar 8 my DAW crashes and don't wants to recover my work. Have anyone this problem too?
Thanks for any opinion or information.

Oj oj, nobody mentioned. So first what you mean exactly by "freezing"?
I'll check as soon as possible.

Sorry for my english
Sonar have one advantage - to reduce using of CPU you can "freeze" any vsti - Sonar make temporary audiotrack of sound of vsti and when it does that, it's disconnect vsti to free up memory and do not use this vsti in active mode to reduce CPU usage. Same feature is in all DAWs, but in sonar it's call "frreze synth"
So, when I finish to make my patterns, drumkit and song structure in mdrummer - I freeze it and only in one case of 10 this operation finishing normaly. Other 9 ends with error and I need to re run my daw. I think this happend when Sonar disconnecting Mdrummer after making temp audio file, becouse the audio file saving in project audio folder. Maybe some settings of mdrummer or my DAW is the cause of it. Anyway, if you know what I can do there - please help. I like mdrummer so much.

I have kind of bad news - I just checked freezing with Cubase and Sonar, but no problems at all. I also tried some checkboxes in freeze options, which I don't understand
, but anyway... no problems.
Maybe if you want, please send me the project to info@meldaproduction.com (just the MDrummer tracks if you wish) and I can test it here.

That's something with my settings of software or hardware. Today I try to freeze mdrummer on the PC of my friend - no problem at all. Sorry:) You can delete this topic to not disappointing other users. Mdrummer is realy great. Thanks a lot. I'll try to change some settings. If it's will take effect - I'll write you what the problem is.

Well, if it happens to you, it may happen to someone else too, but can't really imagine what it could be - just one thing maybe - don't you have some kind of extraordinary CPU with say 4 cores or more? This may cause some multithreading problems, who knows.
Anyway if you find out what it was, please let me know
. Thanks!

I find out that when I uncheck "Unload synth on disconnect(release memory)" (Options->Global) in Sonar settings - I freeze and unfreeze many times and no problems at all. So, the problem is in unloading content of mdrummer from memory. Maybe it's problem with my memory or algorhytm of unloading synth in sonar. The version of sonar is 8.3.1 The version of mdrummer 2.13.

I am waiting for my Sonar 8 PE upgrade to get to me. Once I get it and install it- I will reinstall MDrummer and see if I can replacate the issue.
FYI- what is your OS- XP/Vista/Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit).
One question- will MDrummer has any issues running in 64bit (I am also going to install Windows 7 and am considering doing the 64bit version just to try it out).

Well, MDrummer works natively in 32-bit, so if your host works in 32-bit (most host do), that everything should be just fine
