:dog:

i had End to End disabled in Tracktion & external sink enabled, no wonder it did not work correctly

will give a real test later :) but so far things are looking much better :)

it did still crash, & sometimes XT2 vst can give max CPU errors using this,

have you tried loading a demo track from tracktion (i use Subways :hihi: ) & then load one of your tracks in the vst vershion of XT2? if i just have midiout in xt2 all seems well,

Hmmm, i might try loading a xt2 vst inside the xt2 vst in tracktion & load the midi out plug to there

nothing to lose as they say :)

the new synthedit SDK 3 is XML based and (i haven't got chance to try it much... but) it looks really fun, is there any possiblity you'd give us all seizures and release some ".sem"s?

pretty please with :hail: on top?
this is something i've considered. synthedit is great, but some things with midi can be very tedious in it... maybe i could do something about that. some of the midi plugins, or parts of them, might be good as modules too. eventually i'll try this, but if anyone else wants to try i would provide the source code.

So would that mean one would have to translate JUCE?

no... even with the juce plugins, the processing code is almost all plain c++.

thank you :)

i was using XT1 vst to do alot of things that your plugins let you do (its a shame the vst2 speck dose not support multiple midi in's & outs! but hay, i do still have XT1 :D

thank you again for your help & time! i look forward to doing some more testing

Piz,
I dont know if you got my email off of your regular website, so I'm going to repost here to hopefully get a request fulfilled.

Is it possible to modify midiKeySplit so that there are 4 outputs instead of just two?

I have a real small controller, either a Novation 25LE or Korg nano Key, but both do not have a split feature integrated into them, hence the useage of midiKeySplit plugin. Both can shift several octaves, which would be nice for controlling several channels of ZynAddSubFX (and a few other plugin Synths) under Linux in EnergyXT.

Parameters should be something like:

1: OutChannel
1: Transpose
1: Split Note
2: OutChannel
2: Transpose
2: Split Note
3: OutChannel
3: Transpose
3: Split Note
4: OutChannel
4: Transpose
4: Split Note
InChannel

Thanks for your consideration.

Not to deter you from using IPH plugins but have you seen the key splitter here?

not sure what you mean, the source code for that is in the zip file.
http://thepiz.org/xt/MiddyMorphy.zip
http://thepiz.org/xt/MiddyMorphy_alt.zip

getting that into a synthedit module might not be easy though.

i didn't get any e-mail like that, but it would only take me a few minutes to do this.

17 minutes to be exact...
