If I undestand well the options, I would go for the second one (obviously as it is more for less money) but only if this 'a little longer' really is just a little longer, and not like the updates you announce, that are always just 'in a few days, this weekend,...' but take to long come.VFXAU wrote: I am unsure if people would spend $175 for doubling the CPU power or not right now or hold off a little longer to have something around $100 to do this with extra ram.
Other than this, I really hope to update the cpu soon.
Will you send the CPU boards so that the customers can do the update for themselves?

eh? a blank line at the end of the wizard is needed? When did you tell us this?MatthewSkinner wrote:
A user made wizard file is up on our website for the MS20 (I noticed there is no blank line at the end of the wizard so you would need to add this) and I have had the wavestation and most of the plugins in the collection working with older versions.
You have to redo all your manuals and tutorials, as they aren't complette and doesn't correspond to the state of the V-M. It makes all harder if you don't explain all that's needed!!!!!

Since the VFX should support now the authorization of most of vsti, have you planned to post new wizard files, for example, for Native instruments VST?VFXAU wrote: HEHE... we should take bets... obviously I cannot be involved as I can tell..

We already have all, just not allowed to publish by NI, maybe you can ask them as well.delafuerte wrote:Since the VFX should support now the authorization of most of vsti, have you planned to post new wizard files, for example, for Native instruments VST?VFXAU wrote: HEHE... we should take bets... obviously I cannot be involved as I can tell..

Excuse me Danny,VFXAU wrote: One better... we can have MIDI PLUGINS so put what ever you like in front of the VSTi... lots of free MIDI plugins out there
but a button next to SPLIT would be the right solution in my opinion, neither not so difficult.
Don't you think it would have been so much easier?

Easier... maybe... but then many other customers asked for other functions which can now be implemented because the MIDI plugins can be used. like arpegiators and triggering different things etc etc.delafuerte wrote:Excuse me Danny,VFXAU wrote: One better... we can have MIDI PLUGINS so put what ever you like in front of the VSTi... lots of free MIDI plugins out there

Dannny, it's not such a bad thing to meet customers request!
Moreover for a vst host (like VFX) midi transpose function IMHO should be a MUST not an option (refer to Brainspawn Forte for example)!!!
This function is essential for what you say on your site (so...it's not my wrong expectation):
Combine VST and VSTi plug-ins into chains, splits, and layers to create extremely rich and unique sounds.
Different is for arpegiators, triggering, etc...
That's my opinion, but I'd like to know what other machiners think.
