Hi !

I've got an annoying problem with Zebra 2.3
I'm trying to modulate envelopes attack by LFO.

so :
target : ENV attack
modulator : LFO

I never managed to make it work....

The ModMatrix works with other parameters... But I never managed to modulate an ENV attack by an LFO....

Anyone has an idea if I'm doing something wrong...
Or is this a bug ?

Thanks in advance.

Envelope Attack is one of these highly difficult modulation targets. The actual attack time is determined only once at the beginning of the attack phase but then never again during the course of that phase (to save cpu...). Hence any modulator that's supposed to modulate Attack must have been evaluated before the envelope. Which are only the modulation sources above that envelope in the pull down list...

Which still means, you could use a global LFO (LfoG1 or LfoG2) to do the task!

Cheers,

;) Urs

OK, I get it :)

Thanks for the very quick and clear answer !

...and by the way : "I JUST LOVE THIS ZEBRA SYNTH", i'm using it all the time... with this synth it's always a pleasure to load the 'init' preset and start something new!

This is SO true!

Personally, I even reverted to the old init preset. One OSC, nothing else and that's about it. I finally wanted to explore more things than I did so far. I think it sort of paid off already.

Similar here, but even more radical. My INIT is no OSC, and all lanes in the grid go through GATE. The SYNTHESIS page is absolutely empty ;)
