i'd like sylenth to stay what it is: a nice and simple hardwired performance orientated synth.

there are a few very specific enhancements needed that would extend possibilites for live performances.

separate pitch bend ranges for up/down, route key velocity to envelope amount, polyphonic aftertouch

for you sounddesigners who need lots more crazy stuff, there are modular monsters like zebra that can give you all you want and more, no?

peace

well yes sylenth is good as it is your right :) however i would prefer to stay using sylenth but personally there's only so much i (personally) can make or all patches will just start to sound the same at some point.
also like you mention zebra above and i say "why can't sylenth have these features" i don't know..only lennard knows this answer.if lenneard intended sylenth to be like it is now then so be it because it's a brilliant synth regardless. :)

I agree with Rob, and hey, my name is Rob too, I guess I am also agreeing with myself :hihi:

(Crickets in the background....:scared:)...Ahem, but anyway, just as an example: Wusikstation 5 has something sort of like that where you can just use the effects section of it on a track.

Adding something like that doesn't take away from Sylenth1 already being great (that's already set in stone), it's just another way to use it that can be helpful.

Anything to make Sylenth1 better or useful in different ways is a plus to me.

+1 for Audio In

....but, and that's for Rob and all other Cubase users like me: Cubase doesn't support INS on VST Instruments, so we wouldn't benefit from this. Sucks big time :x

Sorry, it's probably not correct English. What I tried to say is that Cubase doesn't support INPUTS in VST Instruments. Only in VST FX.
