I was screwing around and was spectrographing "Funny Little Man" by Aphex Twin, then I thought of Zebra and how cool it would be if there was ANOTHER way to draw Oscs as if it were a spectrograph. Perhaps like the way Sytrus does additive synthesis, but have columns of pixels for harmonics and rows for the harmonics to change over time. Just thought it might be cool to experiment with.

Hm..i tried it with alchemy but wasn't that impressed actualy..

The way Krishna works is way more interesting imho that you actualy can import audio wich is split up in frames by FAT technology and can be manipulated that way..

do you guys know krishna? i think its the perfect additional synth for Zebra..

have a nice day!

Maybe you could have a separate program for using a spectrograhpic style "painting" interface to create OSC presets that you can load into Zebra2? On the plus side, you could work on it separately and people that don't want it don't have to get it.

that's called an "image synth", some additive synthesizers work on bitmaps
