Have had a few problenms downloading the latest updates for MDynamics (1.06) and the Free Effects bundle (1.04) both of which I have purchased licenses for (I have downloaded using the download manager in the past with no problems). When using the download manager for either MDynamics or the Free Effects bundle, the download manager advises that no updates are available. So I manually downloaded both MDynamics (1.06) and the Free Effects bundle (1.04) from the MeldaProduction site instead. I then uninstalled both MDynamics and the Free Effects bundle on my PC. Then I installed MDynamics (1.06) which installed fine. But I get the message "Cannot open registry key MeldaProduction Free VST Effects" as soon as I click on the MeldaProduction Free VST Effects (1.04) installation icon. How do I install the Free Effects bundle (1.04)?

Well, first there was another option - executable updater available at thew download pages too. I checked and truly the update for MDynamics was not uploaded, stupid mistake
. Fixed.
But I checked the Free VST effects bundle and everything seems ok, I tried different versions, updaters...
So we have to proceed iteratively
- so
1) Can you please try using the original installer if it works. If so, you can try not uninstalling it and just use the newest installer/updater.
2) What OS do you have?
3) Any special settings in the installer? Such as different paths etc.
4) Did you do this in admin login? (it may be necessary)
And thanks

Thanks for the quick reply Vojtech.
Apologies.....my mistake regarding the free VST effects bundle - I did have the latest installed already, so that was why the download manager couldn't download any new updates for it
. I noticed that file I had downloaded and tried to install but had a problem with was named mfreevsteffects_setup_update_1_04.exe. I also have a file named mfreevsteffects_1_04_setup.exe saved on my harddrive which I have now reinstalled with no problem. All sorted!
