I can load multiple instances of Sylenth1 in Sonar. Do it all the time.

Not sure why you need multiple outs as it only produces 1 sound. DO you mean a separate outs for mix A & B.

Mr Momentum YOU mentioned multiple instances of sylenth and i think Bobbotov comments were constructive in the the sense of why you can't?.

And just for the record i run multiple sylenths as well without a problem.

Or was it just a rough night/day.

Well, I quoted your statement that it doesn't do multiple outs or multiple instances and I replied that I do multiple instances all the time. How is that irrelevant?

And "anything" in this thread? There were two posts when I responded originally one of which was yours.

I have no idea where you are coming from with this.

I guess indeed a rough night for both of you...

Sylenth1 is one of my main synth's and have no problem running a lot of those in one project, even, I have to come across a VST(i) plugin yet that can only be loaded once.

Please read my post again. I never said that you cannot use multiple instances, just that Sylenth1 (other then left and right outputs) does not have any multiple outputs. If you want to have multiple outputs, you need to load multiple instances for whatever you want seperated on other channels or whatever the top poster had in mind, he/she is not really clear about that, so my answer was short.

Maybe even the top poster is not meaning multi out at all but multi timbral.

It is apparently the way you worded the statement as "either - or." I.e. you cannot have multiple outs OR multiple instances. If you had said, you cannot have multiple outs like Kontakt BUT you can have multiple instances then it would have been clearer and I would never have responded as I obviously agree.

Well my bad. In Dutch grammar this would make perfect sense. If I throw that sentence in Babelfish, I get a comprehensable result. Shouldn't I use Nor or Neither to state otherwise? As in "No. Nor load multiple instances"?

It looked like you had issues with multiple instances of sylenth that is all.

And as concerned KVR's we started to ask why.

Yes, but many people (English and non-English speaking) make the mistake of using "or" for a continuation of the negative. It makes the sentence ambiguous. If I say "you cannot go outside or drive your car," its meaning seems to indicate you can neither go outside nor drive your car. You however apparently mean you cannot go outside BUT you can drive your car.

As a former Japanese translator these things come up a lot in languages. For example, in Japanese "yes" can mean "no." If I ask a negative question (i.e. "Do you not want to go outside?" the answer "yes" in Japanese means that you do not want to go outside. In English, you would typically say, "no" (meaning you do not want to go outside). Double negatives are worse (i.e. Didn't you want to not go outside?) The meaning is that at some point you intended to not go outside but changed your mind.
