The problem with both of these is that they don't allow parallel compression, only serial.billstei wrote:I totally agree, if you are still using Fruityloops you need to switch to the Cocopuffs sequencer.

This is true but can't you use Angstanalouge FM with either? Best thing is-- it's FREE! And you get lots of support online.

I took the code from both and remade them with parts from each other. My new ones are Aliasmaster and Sizzlesynth and they both sound far more analogue than either of those two dated originals!

Okay but don't use both of those in the same project, the outputs will reattach to their original inputs and create figure-8 feedback and you'll burn out your sound card. The resultant explosion will, of course, have a nice warm analogue sound.pdxindy wrote:I took the code from both and remade them with parts from each other. Yeah! I spent four years trying to tell that to my philosophy professor.billstei wrote:And another thing!... it's really frustrating to try to have a serious debate like this when people start using imaginary words like frustrapositionalisticism.
I lost.
He was an expert. He had a Ph.D....
in Frustrapositionalisticism Dynamics and Hegelian Synthesis Techniques, with a minor in Analogue (not digital, no, no!) Electronic Penny Whistle Axiology and Dialetictical Jazz.

Don't worry, that will not happen if you use the Warmolator Bridge which also happens to introduce oscillator instability to give you an even more authentic analogue experiencebillstei wrote:Okay but don't use both of those in the same project, the outputs will reattach to their original inputs and create figure-8 feedback and you'll burn out your sound card. what is missing here, is: where's the RTAS version of Sizzlemess full of ignition and factory and additional tracks and a welfare button?

I hear SuperLoudCompanyTryingToHedgeIt'sInvestmentsInTheMusicIndustry is developing a 'virtual digital analog synthesizer' which runs on an abacus, hooked up to a hamster wheel matrix and bicycle powered belt drive, on to a grid of pneumatically operated whistles and kazoos.

Stop! This sketch is getting silly. What started out as a highly promising item of waggish banter with a soupçon of classic satire has degenerated into a platform for low-brow SILLINESS!
