The Modelonia Player is a freeware plugin which loads the Modelonia
presets and allows the user to tweak them with few but powerful
controls: firstly the 2 "Mix & Morph" faders:

Fader 1 : blends the output of the two main resonators of the Modelonia engine
Fader 2 : balances the cross-modulation between the resonators

The middle position of the faders set always the original preset values.
The two faders can be MIDI controlled using CC 45 and 46

I think at EUR 51.00, it would be worth the cost of the FULL product. I find the player a bit Limited but the sound is interesting. Also, a serious limitation for me is that the player insists on being installed on drive C: I need to conserve whatever space I have left there, so that's not great! If the add-on packs also had to be installed there, then I would have no choice but to say . . . Sorry, I simply can't do that! I'll mess around with this again before making a final yay or nay decision! Thank you for the download. It is interesting!
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

Ah, ok I can easily avoid to force the use of drive c:, I thought it wouldn't be an issue for 1.8 MB of files even with the extra presets they are only few KB, no samples used of course.

But I don't understand what you mean with "I think at EUR 51.00, it would be worth the cost of the FULL product."

Thanks

Edit: I think you mean : instead of 25 USD for the 270 presets rather buy the FULL Modelonia for 75.00 USD,
(sorry for my slow english)

Thanks for this. I just ran through the presets; there are some great sounds there. The add-on preset pack will go on my list of things I should buy on the off chance I end up with twenty-five spare dollars.

Very nice.

Thanks again.

Thanks D.H. Miltz,

BTW I added these info now, which I think could be overlooked:

Please note that you can easily create cool variations of the included 32 presets
and save them in the empty slots from 33 to 128 in the Default bank,
just save it as default.fxb in the Modelonia_Player folder and it will load each time you open the plugin.

For some configurations just a small movement of the Mix&Morph fader can substancially change the timbre

Thanks for player.

51€ for the full version is a no brainer, imo.
Anyway, quite a good idea with the player: people, who don't want to tweak the monster, have the chance to use the sounds for even less.
This is one of the best sounding vstis on the market. get it!

cheers

Modelonia (FULL Version) is listed at 51 Euro in your shop! I think at this cheap cost, it would be worth buying, rather than having to work with the limitations of the FREE player!

I do appreciate getting a FREE player from you but even in these bad financial times, the FULL product, with FULL control, is worth thinking about purchasing for the silly-low price of 51 Euro!!! It is a BARGAIN at that price IMHO!

grazie Luigi :)

if i can hairsplit some, im not a big fan of the latest installers, as they can be very intrusive as creation of folders and settings..
if i can go further, if any other vsti/vst i have installed should have created folders on documents folder or around my hd, it would become a nightmare to reorder after few installs...
can the next versions please let us choose where to put ANY folder? i had the same problem installing demos of PrimaDelay and BDM, none at all, instead, with the previously released NUsofting pluggies..
in fact i ll need to avoid installing such latest in my workplace pc for instance: i did it only on my proper audio pc at home, although having extra folders in my usual document folder structure is not a thing i like much..
sorry for being picky with a freebie, Luigi, apologize me ;)

Peace
