Cool thing about u-he products. Probably the best deal around. Tons of free upgrade for all product line and when it's a paid upgrade the fee is very small.
I love u-he (and Urs). Best bang for the the money.

That's basically the same thing. "u-he.com" was the shortest domain available in 2001 that somewhat resembled my initialsxx JPRacer xx wrote:u-he (and Urs)

I gotta ask....
When someone says they hate U-he (wouldn't know why did would do that), do you take it personally?

You know, I have seen people who didn't think his products were as great as their reputation (I personally think they're wonderful, myself) but I've never seen a single complaint about U-He's customer service or business policies.phatty wrote:I gotta ask....

some people were complaining about the lack of education discount, that is the only complaints I ever saw. The people complaining didn't make much sense in my opinion. I like Urs a lot but I don't currently own any of his stuff except CM Zebra which is amazing especially for the price.MitchK1989 wrote:You know, I have seen people who didn't think his products were as great as their reputation (I personally think they're wonderful, myself) but I've never seen a single complaint about U-He's customer service or business policies.phatty wrote:I gotta ask....

I was one of those people that was branded as "complaining" but that wasn't what I was saying at all. I merely stated that no matter what reason you have for NOT having an academic discount, lots of other companies do, so as a student it does feel like I'm paying a premium for U-He plugs. They're still great value for money simply because of how much better they are than other plugs though.ATS wrote:some people were complaining about the lack of education discount, that is the only complaints I ever saw. Well it sounds like your still complaining . You should drop it.No one pays a premium for U-He plugs. Everyone pays the same decent prices. Can't get fairer than that.MitchK1989 wrote:

So , all of you boys that stop every day at this nice forum to express your love for U-he , should think very carefully about the consequences of what you are doing .Urs wrote:Absolutely!phatty wrote:When someone says they hate U-he (wouldn't know why did would do that), do you take it personally?

Hello Boys,
Perhaps this is consequence #1.
Urs doesn't disassociate himself from his activities. That's a rare quality these days don't you think? Zebra is as much the person as the fingers that coded it. (Something I like to keep in mind when I feel like calling something a piece of shit, it says something to the person.) It's his creative efforts that has impressed us so and he works very hard to make a product that keeps us happy. I guess most of us don't usually feel like anyone cares, including ourselves, but at U-He that feeling does not exist. The products are outstanding to say the least and priced so that, comparatively, everyone is already getting a very substantial discount as has been made clear quite a few times before.
I see no problem discussing it though. It brings out things we should be talking about and lesser companies should be making themselves aware of. (That is, if they care at all.) People have come to expect certain things that, if examined closely, are just sales leverage and offer no real value in the end. Student discounts being a prime example. You never get the full product and you'll just have to buy the same deal as everyone else later. So it costs you more really.
I don't know that I would call it love but we all could use more friends and businessmen like Urs. However, when I first seen the GUI's for Uhbik I was tempted to say to a man for the first time..., "Oh! Nice knobs"!
Excellent!
Have a Great Day everyone!

You wouldn't say that if your wife was talking, I guess ??Urs wrote:That's basically the same thing.xx JPRacer xx wrote:I love u-he (and Urs)
And concerning the rest of that (IMO strange) discussion about discounts ... premium products, moderate prices is all I can say from my point of view.
