Go here. Download a sample. Cut out 12-16 single cycle waveforms. Load into Wav2Zebra2 and export. Modulate thru the wavetable with a LFO and/or envelope.
Got some interesting textures that way. Nothing really realistic yet but my skillz are'nt up to snuff in this area so that could be it.
It's a lot of work though. Someone should make a program to ease the process somewhat.

Ok so the "real" stuff did'nt turn out to well but i accidentily stumbled across the laser harp sound and thought i'd try the same technique and it turned out pretty darn decent if i might say so myself. Particulary in the lower registers.
I threw in a Ohhh choir sound that is halfdecent as an extra bonus.
EDIT: Did a little demo of the laser harp preset. Strings is ProteusVX,rest is Zebra.

8 downloads and not a single comment. That's all ?
Funny thing is the demo tune has been dl:ed 17 times.
C'mon people. Are'nt there any JMJ fans around here ? So it's only one preset but it is an awesome one.

Actually it was just 5 cycles but i cheated. If you look at the oscillator FX you see i use the Sync Mojo FX.I was really surprised how close i came to the original and how organic it sounds. Might have gone a bit overboard with the shaper though but that is easily corrected.gbles wrote:Sounds pretty good. I didn't think that cutting out just 12 cycles would give you something like that.
