How to start without preset?

i think!!! the default preset is built in (i could be incorrect)
you could make a preset thats blank & put it in your preset folder with a name like 001 to put it top of the preset list,

or you can create (or save) a preset called "default.h2p" in the root preset folder. This will be loaded as default preset whenever you create a new instance. You can try that in the links posted below

Starting with the next version you can create (or save) a preset called "default.h2p" in the root preset folder. This will be loaded as default preset whenever you create a new instance. You can try that here already:

Note that it all lanes are set to "Gate" and "save only active modules" was switched "On" when I saved (modules should adopt settings from the previously selected patch - I haven't checked this!)
