Midi notes and effect events not synchronized

When you have a midi sequence in the mulab editor,
you can hit record and while replaying you can add an effect by e.g. turning the modulation wheel at your midi controller.
We stopping the recording, you can <merge> this track to the replayed midi note track, this is a nice feature.
But if the active part of the track (limited by the Start and End locators which can be located freely inside the midi editor) do not start at the beginning of the track, the recorded effect events are put at the beginning of the track, not synchronized with the Start locater (or start position when replaying/recording the track).
Does anyone know about this bug, any workaround ?

Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler!
