Okay I have a dumb question too...
If I put an OSC or FMO module into Zebrify, and play a note with the Zebra that is sending to it, the Zebrify OSC begins sounding but does not go off when the Zebra note is released. Since this is an effect I suppose that might be correct behavior, but I'm not sure (?).

Try changing the mixer settings. Set Volume to 0.00. Set Vol Mod Source to Envelope Follower. Set intensity to 100.00%. Alternatively use MIDI triggered envelopes. Or transients. Whatever boats your float. Be happy.billstei wrote:Okay I have a dumb question too...

Ahhh.. i use Zebra everyday.. but I don't spend much time on the net when I have a soundtrack on. Today I am very glad I checked the Forum and especially glad someone started this thread. Zebrify is incredible and probably one of the best sound design tools I've used in a long time. Urs, Zebrify is sheer genius! It makes the Max patches I've been working on (using similar concepts & components) seem redundant. It SOUNDS amazing.I'm now going to put it through it's paces!

Okay, so the oscillator should free-run even after it gets a Note-Off event? If this behavior makes you happy, then I will absolutely be happy, the kind of happiness that makes me cry.Urs wrote:Try changing the mixer settings. Set Volume to 0.00. oscillators tend to free-run, otherwise the release portion of sounds wouldn't sound at all. you need to put an envelope or gate in place to shape the amplitude.billstei wrote:Okay, so the oscillator should free-run even after it gets a Note-Off event?
