Hiyas.

I have been forced to use Zebra on a crappy 15" monitor since the proper one left for repairs. The default skin and Unempty Dark Horse are both a bit dark so I ended up doing a bit of skinning. If you like your zebras pale, this one might be your pet, too!

I couldn't find a way to easily change the (currently gray) background behind the waveform displays so it's now a nice system gray. I kind of like it like that, actually. And there must be some other things I missed too but you can flame me about those :)

Enjoy!

Quite nice. Pretty modern colour scheme.

About the only thing I'm not keen on, is that knotted woodgrain texture on the right hand pannel, but that's only one person's opinion.

I could still see myself using this though. :)

Very nice!

Thanks.

Wow. That is clean.

I really like the light colors and gentle contrast. This may be my favorite skin so far.

But I agree, I'd love a version that had a plain background instead of the wood-grain.

Nice work, and thank you!

I think this is a really nice change of pace. I like it. And I'll second the motion for a version without the wood grain :)

Yay!

The fake wood contact sheet (from our Zen Bound, actually) has been replaced with some medium-density fibreboard:

The download link is the same, of course. I'll update the whole thing again when I find a way of making the grey in the bottom editors a bit darker.

Thanks for this.

The new version looks great. :)

For me, it gave me some good ol' ReBirth feeling
I like the idea and where this skin is going ;)

Fixed! Now the waveform display and all it's little friends are easier to read and the MSEQ edit scheme is much improved, thanks to Urs who was kind enough to explain some of the Zebra2.txt secrets. I also re-took the pictures on the top of this thread to reflect this.

Now the only things I can think of are (1) Arp Transpose numbers are white (2) the inactive MSEQs on MSEQ selector are a bit dark. Other than that, I'm quite pleased with it, at least until my Cinema Display comes back to daddy.

Thanks for the love, enjoy the skin.

you know, I also think early 90s internet design is under-rated
