I'm sorry, but nobody asked what you prefer more than Cubase.octopuss wrote:Your question: Impressed with Cubase- am I crazy? What impresses you?
My answer: Yes, you are crazy. What doesn't impresses me ?
After I try Pro Tools, Cubase was completly obsolete.
Also, I never liked very mutch. Sould my Version 4 at some weeks.
Steinberg should stop and think again what they really want do do, and not copying parts of other software.
ProTools is great, but don't pretend it's nearly as complete as Cubase. Many people, including myself, prefer Cubase by a mile. I do like PT and though I sold my PT system, I will get another in the future. But it's not as complete. And copying parts? Are you serious? Considering Cubase was first to many areas, and even PT has copied from other software, that's kind of a silly point to make.
Now that that is out of the way, this is a thread about Cubase, not what other host you prefer. Nobody asked. I don't mean to be rude, honestly, but that's just not what this thread is for. I don't care about a host war, but for tips on Cubase and even issues you have with Cubase. If you've got those and can express your thoughts in a respectful manor, by all means, please share. Otherwise, start another thread.
