Is it possible to have the folders on the left side (under Local) to be collapsible? The preset list is overwhelming and confusing to find what I need quickly.
Also, Is there a find/search option someplace in the plugin?
thanks for any help

Hi,
I actually posted a screenshot of Zebra 2.5 here:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... &start=707
So the next incarnation of Zebra will have collapsible preset folders (with the 2nd level collapsed by default). You can furtherly drag presets from the right hand side into any folder on the left.
I'm currently working on a mechanism that lets you mark presets as "Favourite" or "Junk". Latter can be hidden while former will be highlighted. This will be a quick and easy way to break down the complexity.
And if that works out, I might also add a customizable tagging system, and some sort of "smart folders".
Cheers,
Urs

Hey great. Congatulations. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.GMusic wrote:Urs!
I gladly hand you my $199 sir! A new happy customer! Zebra is mind blowing.
Thanks!
Here's a page with all the presets for it. Zebra can also load the ZebraCM & Zebralette presets too. So have fun.

Hmmmm... havn't thought about that yet.nschmidt-dd wrote:Hi Urs,Urs wrote:I'm currently working on a mechanism that lets you mark presets as "Favourite" or "Junk". Latter can be hidden while former will be highlighted. This will be a quick and easy way to break down the complexity.

MIDI Programs still have to be present *before* opening an instance, because when the first instance is created, it loads all MIDI Programs and compiles them into a compressed binary state. This is encessary to make preset loading fast enough. Otherwise things can crash or just not be "on the point".
On the other hand, drag and drop seems to work fine now (at least on Mac, havn't done the Win port of this yet). So if there was a "Favourites" smart folder containing all favourite presets, then it would just be a single drag'n'drop action to put them into the MIDI Programs folder.
We'll see...
