early adopters price sounds good and it's less work to manage than a group buy,
so it could be, <grin>

My suggestion:

Early adopters price could be something like $50

Loyalty price for those that own some or all of your products - $35

Then shoot it up to your retail price after the introductory period is over.

Agreed that an introductory price period might be easier than a full-fledged gb. Even better if lower for current owners of your products. Either way, do what works.

If you want to do $59 across the board during an introductory period I certainly wouldn't argue with that.

Whatever happens, I'm really looking forward to this item on this end since it's realtime and not using samples.

In these times I would say that 50-60 bucks would work. You can get a great string machine sample library for quite cheap these days.

$59 for early adopters (two weeks) could work, please note that SDS was a quite long and hard work (talking about months, analysing sounds and schematics, coding in C++ and tweaking filter codes)
and IMHO not paragonable with sample libraries, which for their "per note" nature can't fully capture the texture of a strings machine.

So I don't want to compete against those.

Loyalty price doesn't work much for NUSofting, sorry Mike, I tried that in the past but I have so many different products and users have different tastes too.

Maybe I could add a bundle with Combo Sister, since they are somehow related,
like Strings Dream + Combo Sister for 95 USD
