Just finished a project with T3 today. I'm getting to like the Mackie Reverb more and more, and finding uses for Final Mix other than mastering. Great for vocals and drums.

T2/3 will ALWAYS be great tool to have in the sonic arsenal!

To be fair, that doesn't mean Tracktion won't ever continue. That may just mean they aren't producing more stock of version 3, or aren't making it available for the time being. If there IS some kind of dealings going on, then it may make sense.

I'm not saying this IS the case. Just that it COULD be the case.

That's why I said "it looks like it's over". We can't be sure unless it comes directly from Mackie but this is pretty compelling evidence that it's over.

The said something a while back about it not being over, but let's think realistically, it's pretty bleak.

I can't imagine people falling all over each other to get the boxed versions, so it could mean they are all just getting it out of their hair. I don't think so, but it could

To get some more info I went to Mackie and started hitting their dealers. More have it in stock than don't but Sam Ash and American Music return "item not found". B&H flatly sez that it's discontinued.

Another thing to consider is that retailers have had very few sales of it recently, and just chosen to clear out their stock and not order more. Maybe they got tired of waiting for news, or whatever. But if the product isn't selling at all(which there is no way to know obviously), it may have just been cleared out and is no longer available from those stores since they won't order more.

Just another scenario. Again, based purely on speculation.

They took a wrong turn with 3. It was so wrong there was no going back. I'd still be using it if they had just cleaned it up a little and got everything working. Small steps would have been just fine with me. Oh well.

There is still nothing concrete. I don't know any more than I did before I went to Mackie.

It's $49 at Amazon from Musicians Friend. At Musicians Friend it's on clearance for $99 bucks.

This is a clearance item.

I've only ever had the download versions (1,2,3) so for me that is a sweet deal , just for the plugs. Shame I can't get it shipped to the UK!

Are the plugs bound to Tracktion, or can they be used in other hosts? The former seems to be usual with plug-ins bundled with a host, but I don't know whether Tracktion does it this way.
