Your implication is offensive. I don't believe there is any single country that has a monopoly on ignorance or stupidity. I'm sure where ever you are from you have your fair share. A good number of us are not only thoughtful but also aware. What we are lacking is the will to force change. Lasting change, not just the next resident at the White House change or 3mpg better out of our cars change.

Pretty arrogant considering the UK is every bit at fault as the US. Lots of money travels across the pond to the UK. It has benefited from our excesses more than any other nation, including Japan. Yet you think you have some moral ground to stand on. Whatever.

And what is it that we're as at fault about? Because I was having a slap at the grinning idiot's denial of climate change, and at his typically American view that somehow Al Gore was a major player in the debate where everyone else thinks he's jumped on the band waggon a tad late. A bit like when he invented the information super highway.
