Free running Lfos *per voice* are more like randomly phased Lfos because the voices are iterated from note to note. Unlike an analogue synth, Zebra (and 99.99% of its digital siblings) puts idle voices on stand by so Lfos, filters etc. don't use any cpu. These breaks make freely running oscillator phases appear to be random.

Yes, it is. Free running voice LFOs vs. global LFOs is the top most frequently asked question ever since I deployed the concept in 2003 or so. I recently came up with a concept to finalize the issue, but I havn't implemented it yet.phlake wrote:Ah, that makes sense. It certainly seemed a bit weird, that's for sure.
