Am I correct in thinking that if i install Workstation I no longer need an Ilok key to make it work, now that it's free, and will only need one of I buy some of the sound banks?
Thanks for helping this newb find his way in the dark

Really? I have to close EVERYTHING and log out just to place UVI Workstation in my VSTPlugins folder? A little overkill, no? I mean, Waves doesn't even require this anymore. It's not like I'm installing OS-modifying stuff...Installing this software requires all
applications be closed and the system
logged out when the installation is done.
Are you sure you want to install the
software now?

Added on the feature list.SaganTech wrote:Is it possible to make UVI workstation so that it retains the keyboard velocity setting when the preset is changed in the browser? It probably should be saved in the host document but if I had to choose I would rather see the curve maintained across presets. How about an option in preferences? The default velocity curve is just wrong for use with any of my keyboards and Synths Anthology. Otherwise UVI is awesome.
Thanks for good word Jed.Jed wrote:I'm totally loving this thing for jamming on ninjam. Thank you very much for an awesome tool!
Is anyone having trouble with getting your own loop directories to stick in the browser's 'Places' folder? Some do and some don't and I cant work out a pattern to it.
Thanks

Regarding Favorites, I think the best thing is to always create favorites from the original HD and not through another favorites(start browsing from the disk and not using a favorite) or it could lead to some unwanted side effects that you are maybe experiencing.
Hope this helps.
I just give it a quick try and it's working fine here.Jed wrote: Thanks for your reply
Unfortunately this issue is occurring even if I try to create the favorites from the HD (going in via the Devices drop down)
For instance my audio loops are in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\JI Library\Audio Loops and I can add 'Audio Loops' to to Favorites OK. But my Rex2 loops are in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\JI Library\Audio Loops\Rex2 and this wont stick at all even if I go in through the devices drop down.
Hope we can get to the bottom of this. I'm looking with lust at some of your libraries
Cheers
Jed
