We were too drunk to remember what we did at Stonehenge.
Okay, not entirely true... I remember someone built a huge bonfire but had the sense to pile rocks in a circle to contain it (with gaps for air and for tossing in more logs).

Not seen this asked yet (sorry if it has like....)

Will you be able to Morph between presets within the uhbik-X rack? Between different modules. For example seperate patches from F and D or Runciter, P and A etc? Or even between 2 patches from the same module? What about using automation as well?

And Urs is it feasible to add bypass switches to the plugins?

Thanks

Interesting question...

First off, each Uhbik within the rack has its own Bypass switch.

Preset morphing... not per se, but as you might know, my plugins have a more or less undocumented scripting language that slowly but for sure gets discovered for its various uses. With that language it is possible to read out any parameter value of any Uhbik within the rack. So one could come up with a script that reads all parameters from the first Uhbik and the second Uhbik and stores something inbetween in the third slot

Cheers,

;) Urs

Ah......

 Err, thanks for the answer Urs (scary stuff) I'll leave all that alone i think. Leave it to the experts. Zebra is quite deep enough without going inside the 'nitty-gritty' of uhbik! :hihi:

Have a great trip in Italy btw!

The Extra Terrestrial Adapter for Uhbik-X, which makes it possible for non-opposable thumb bearing beings to use the mouse, is not available at this time.

Currently sorting out a couple of weird issues (I think I found the massive crash bug in Uhbik-G today... yay... been driving me nuts, that one), and some things left from the recent public beta release of Zebrify... Z'fy and X bear some similarities, so the issues in former may affect latter.

This bug hunting madness is the stuff that I hate to work on, and I'm amazingly slow at it. I suppose that once I'm through with all these little issues I'll release Uhbik 1.1 with the Granular device, and then spend maybe another month on making X work really good.

Later,

;) Urs

So your release schedule will be Uhbik-G, then Zebra 2.5 and finally Uhbik-X or Uhbik-X before Zebra 2.5?

I'll probably beta Uhbik-G before releasing Zebra 2.5. Then, when Z2.5 is out, concentrate on X.

As I think I mentioned somewhere, Uhbik-G has become a tough one. I had a bizarre bug or two and the Win version has raised a couple of fundamental questions. Some math problems were easily solved on MacOS X because their solutions were built into the system. On Windows one needs to buy special libraries which became a money grave because they don't play well with plugin environments. So I have to roll my own, which costs a lot of time for optimization to keep the Win build on par with the Mac version. Which I'm about to do as soon as all those nasty bugs are fixed...

Later,

;) Urs

P.S.: Has anyone successfully used latest MKLs in a plugin that comes with an InnoSetup installer and must run on Receptor and V-machine? :?:
