Sounds like Drumkit From Hell and BFD just got themselves some competition
Now Santa ... that wishlist I gave you ... can I alter it a bit?
Megl
How does that work again?donkey tugger wrote:Sorry, can't have imperial drums any more, got to be metric now..
oops, wrong thread..
Take your general point, I like manytone kits too, but still can't agree with you.f**k paying for drums, just go to ManyTones site or Kavala and get the best samples
Who the f**k wants a snare recorded with 11 different microphones with 43 velocity levels????
If you can tell the diff in between level 31 on mic 5 and level 35 on mic 6 in the middle of a mix.....your a fuckin liar
Get with the program people, make your own kits
You know it makes sense
That was the beauty of things like DR-008's choke groups. They actually didn't employ that in BFD? Haven't looked. Waiting for the bugs to get sorted out before I look anyway. Least that's the right start in the right direction. Guess I need to go look.ericj23 wrote:isnt the real problem with this stuff playing legato (or whatever the term is) ie the wierd interactions you get if you hit a cymabl or a tom that is already sounding
dfh doesnt sort it, bfd doesnt either - i think this might - i cant see why you would need so many velocity layers otherwise
