Np. I'm still completely stunned by Aether after 2 months since first trying it out so everything I can do I will do for... Aether...?... Anway, love this plugin.

Can anyone re-download the plugin again after purchasing it? I've send multiple emails to the company, plus used the contact form on their page and I've got nothing back. It's been over a month now...

I formatted my machine, and forgot to backup the installers. No biggie I thought, I'll just go to my account on their website and re-download. Alas, it says my download links have expired. I only downloaded it once, usually you get 5 downloads on most sites I've bought plugins from?

Anyways, does anyone know how to get a hold of these guys so I can get a copy of a legit OS X installer? The demo installer creates everything with a -demo extension...

They're usually very quick to respond... try also sending a PM through KVR. Maybe it's just something weird like your emails getting filtered to junk mail.

I can't re-download either... The initial link, if I remember right, said I had 3 downloads, good for 5 days or something like that. I really can't remember too well, as it's been a while. Still, I wish too that the link wouldn't expire, but maybe they have good reasons depending on how their system is set up.

Just keep at em' as this is one killer reverb... I re-fall in love each time I use it.

I seek and advice, of how to get rid of that noise filter artifact when using long reverbs, it sounds like an valve that push air..if you understand what I mean..this sound cheap in my ears...when using studio headphones is extra noticeable... I am not sure you would hear that on an expensive reverb unit... Like PCM91

I use mostly long soundscape reverbs ála jacob the ladder. My ideal sound is Lexcion reverbs, or steve roach sound...his reverb tails sounds like a sparkling soda, the sound tails really dissolve with such beauty and transparency...while the reverb sounds are still very long, the sound itself is crystal clear and does not sound time-freezed.

I've just replied via email and sent you the info needed to re-download. Sorry for the delay. It seems I overlooked your email while I was on vacation. I had been trying to keep up with emails during this period and thought that I had taken care of them all, but it does look like I missed this one. Resolved now. Sorry for the delay. I'm not quite sure I do. Could you explain more?

Can you experiment some with the FREQ decay profiles? Maybe try a less exaggerated curve to achieve a more natural sounding response.

Try something with Low-Mid-High ratios of something like 90-100-85, or even closer to 100, 100, 100..

Try splits around 200Hz and 4-8KHz...

Use a gentle Q of around .35 to .70.

Keep diffusion at the Max.

Keep modulation around 25%-to 50% with a slowish setting...

Does any of that help?

I love Steve Roach's work BTW! And Michael Stearns, and Robert Rich, and the Hearts of Space label and radio program which I discovered years ago in high school... Ambient music was my first passion and entrance into electronic music as a whole... In fact, I think it was "Immersion One" that I was listening to while working on the Aether graphics!

Nice to hear from you guys! Any news on the next update? I'd love to get rid of that jarring black screen when I first instantiate Aether in Nuendo PC. I think it's because of years of bad experiences with unstable software that I somehow can't help holding my breath and experience a shudder of alarm every time I launch Aether.

It's actually quite negative Pavlovian conditioning!

The single reason I never joined the group buy... something so many people complained about, and the only response was to tell people how to get around the problem, rather than fix it.

I see it's still not fixed....

As explained several times before we have been "operating on" and "pulling apart the guts of" some of our low level system code base to better organize it for future plans. The part of the code that is responsible for the black GUI screen issue will be replaced completely soon. Thus it makes little sense to try to change that now. We are aware of and it we will offer a fix for it ASAP. What I pointed out was simply that it is an issue/annoyance with a simple workaround in the meantime and that it does not affect functionality of the plugin in anyway. Furthermore it effects less than 10-20% or so of the users. Now don't misread this again to say that we are not listening or are not going to fix this. We are listening and we are certainly going to fix it! I am simply saying we made/forced a short term sacrifice in order to obtain a long term benefit. And we hope that you can understand that and support us in this decision. You may not like it now, but we are confident you will agree this is the right decision shortly.

Any news on the update would be great... Just had a couple major crashes when showing off Aether.

I still love this and find new reasons to love this all the time, but sometimes it freezes my whole system completely, which requires a forced power off (Ctrl+Alt+Del won't work).

Still I also understand... short term pain/long term gain and I will be of course a supportive customer.

Yes, would be finally nice to be able to actually use this. I'm glad I got this via the gb, I don't think I would be very happy having paid full price, or even the promo price.
