This is great news for everyone! I think the price is definitely OK because the Vmachine will have enough power when it will be 2 - 3 times faster.
With this update you should be able to make it an Oberheim OPXa, a minimoog, a piano or whatever you want with enough polyphony.
Camel Audio's Alchemy is supported too which is superb news as this is the only vsti I will need as it can replace all my vsti's.
Any release date for the V-rack?

I'm happy the V-Rack has a digital out I can connect to the digital in from my FantomX7 for a noise free signal.
Just one more question, the V-rack has LAN. Will there be a running 'vncserver' on the V-rack for the 'authorization' of plugins, uploading of samples,
and running the VFX software directly on the V-Box?

Hi. Yesterday I have had mi first gig using the V-Machine and two master keyboards. I've put into my USB stick: GSi VB3, Samplelord VM with a lot of piano, rhodes, brass, strings samples and MinimogueVa, all organized in banks e presets in order to be easily loaded from my keyboards' buttons.
Although I had my laptop with me (just in case of need), I used only the V-Machine and the result was really great in terms of sound quality and speedness in changing the sound. I'm really satisfied
, notwithstanding I'm a member of the PUCA (Please Upgrade the CPU ASAP) club
.
Just two questions:
- why do not provide the remote control of the "confirm" button? It doesn't make sense being able to change preset via a CC knob if you can't confirm it remotely;
- this forum topic has became very long (113 pages!!!) and it's difficult to find the issue you're interested in; why not to open an "Official Company" forum in KVR?
Bye

If you ask me, there should be an option to turn off confirming preset changing. It's better for live gigs, especially if you need to switch sounds fast.carpenzano wrote:Just two questions:

+1000 on that.carpenzano wrote:- this forum topic has became very long (113 pages!!!) and it's difficult to find the issue you're interested in; why not to open an "Official Company" forum in KVR?

Thanks you for all the suggestions,
Good idea about assigning the 'confirm button' to midi etc..
We will add them to the list
Regards
Danny

Just bought the v-machine
i've tried to install Ik multimedia instruments like sampletron, samplemoog and soniksynth
The machine seems to have serious problem in synching... hours to sync in the machine a single preset, and at the end it give back "error Qax616" and other errors QAX.
It seems impossible to install any plugin, they can be installed in the host software n my pc, but not in the machine

don't sync via usb cable - this method is extremely slow since it uses the midi sysex-protocol to transfer (at least as far as I know) - use a usb stick instead, it's MUCH faster, I would say 100 to 200 times or so
