Looks nice. The dark one makes more sense though to simulate isolation for the open faders (Bakelit).
:)
Only something like this is missing: Image

I just saw these switches are still produced - funny. Images
These pics may evoke ideas too: Images

Hils that is awesome. Only suggestion would be to lighten the highlight/ambient light on the (left)side of the large knobs to make them more definable.
While I'm here - will someone make me a decent pitchbend lever to put in Synthedit? The grey plastic looking thing they have just isn't working for me.
Thanks -O-

Meter that I'm working on. I tried out the .gif animation option in knobman but the quality didn't come out that good but it is still interesting to see if the animation is going to work.

I'll post it up soon but it will require photoshop to see what I did. I had clipp the animation to the space that I needed. It was a bit of pain in the but. Two wheels works out ok but I wanted to have a smaller one between them I just couldnt it sync up the spokes on three whells. I finally gave up aftere a few hours... :( but I will need to figure it out because I need three different size wheels for the knobs I going.

Sorry if you've probably already got this far, but just in case I thought I'd post :)

The first thing to do is calculate the gear ratios. For example If you have two gears with one half the diameter of the other then the smaller one will rotate at twice the rate of the larger one.

After that then you need to get the teeth to mesh correctly sorry I can't help there and thats probably the hard bit :P

There's this UnFREEz thing which do gif anim for free. Just feed it a sequence of images exported from knobman and here's your animated GIF!

It's depending on the number of cogs (teeth?). And the number of cogs is resulting in the diameter (for the cogs to fit). I tried this in knobman: Imagehttp://www.savefile.com/files/2143855
The small one has an anglestep of 30 (360/30=12 teeth) and turn 180 degree. The middle one has anglestep 20 = 18 teeth and turns 120 degree (2/3). The big one has anglestep 10 = 36 teeth and turns 60 degree (1/2 of the middle one). Just the cogwheels don't look good in Knobman.
