I still think it would be more user friendly if eventually we had a switch for the arp that let us pick scale and choose number of scale tones to shift (which could be a slightly different amount of semi-tones depending on the scale chosen and notes played) rather than semi-tones. I don't know what it would do if you actually pressed down a note that wasn't in the scale though... Either not play it or shift it up/down to a scale tone I guess.

Thanks Urs. This is great. I'll try it out later.
Try not to work too hard. It can lead to "strungoutucalitis".
A major cause of people who move to small paradise island's without a clue of the outside world. :hihi:
Good work on the stripts, thanks again.

So do I 8)

Although I'm sure that script malarky would work very well (all Urs' inventions do), I simply wouldn't use it.

Call me lazy but once I'm in the middle of composing, I'm just not in the right frame of mind to rummage around creating text files and importing them.

Me too. But this way you can have it *now* rather than later ;)

Yeah, I'm talking from the view of someone who doesn't NEED it though, so I can just wait until "someday" :)

I've only had zebra a few days now, and I think it will be AWHILE before I run out of things to do with even the current feature set

You can do a limited amount of 'force scale' using that along with transpose and playing multiple notes. I think it is one of the underused functions in the arp.
Judging by this, I'm not sure you understand what I'm suggesting.

I do understand what you are suggesting
