I know about the Audio Damage plugin, I don't want to make an emulation of it, AD did a good job there, but I do want to make something inpired by the Pulse Modulator but a lot more complex, kinda like the tremolo (and maybe vibrato as well) to end all tremolos.sinkmusic wrote:- I believe that some of these knobs are already available in this thread ;Shamanix wrote:

Take a look at http://www.buzzmachines.com/machineinfo.php?id=456
I basically want to make a VST version of this but without those stupid clicks it has in the LFO waves + syncable LFO. Should be fun if I ever manage to make it.

just finished this one have to add it to the GUI's that I above posted.

beyond that I did this one last night for my blog header. Although it not exclusively knobman, meaning I did all the images in Photoshop, I did do all the animation, made final color adjustments, set it all up and made adjustments to where I like things since I could test it out in knobman, then exported the single frames for the GIF app from knobman. This would have been much harder to do without knobman, I think it goes to show that knobman has so much to offer even beyond making knobs and buttons.

I don't see anything like that in photoshop. Would be nice. knobman really helped though getting everything set up and being able to test the animaitons, editing things was much easier since I could just replace images and continue on.Kriminal wrote:so you do have psp? thats what i meant, with reargds to the 'animation workshop' or whtever its called..its in paintshop, but i assumed it was in photoshop 9isnt that like the 'pro' version of paintshop?Hlis93 wrote:I did all the images in Photoshop

Great work on those animations Hlis!
Photoshop does have an animation window but I dunno if it's anything like the
one in Psp.

I did the animations in that as well but I couldn't save in a format like a GIF it wasn't an option...mostly AVI, Quicktime .move etc...Limeflavour wrote:Great work on those animations Hlis!

one last one I did tonight for another one of the GUI's it strictly a prop.. I suppose it could display the rate of an LFO or midi activity or something along those lines...i'm working still working on this one though...

Edit:
trying to work the one below into something usable in skinman...this one and another that I am using the above ani in...think perhaps bunch of .png's (I have a couple of different colors/tone for things) this way it could mix and match without having to open the .psd's to isolate a particler part. None the less I think its getting a bit closer to steampunk not sure though its not very futuristic. and yip all the gears work when turning the knobs just like the animation above just had to make some adjustments so I could line all up.

Thanks. I got to admit I'm fairly happy with the stuff I've been doing the last few days. Wok's post reminded me of the steampunk stuff and it really came at the right time, its got me to think a bit different and do some stuff extremely atypical in appearance but also much more complex then I normally do.ouroboros wrote:Sick!
I wouldn't have been able to pull half this stuff off without Knobman really got to hand it to g200kg for creating this tool.

Hi, I put all the background images, knob, decorations etc into Skinman that I have posted above into a few files on my blog. For the one called metal box 1 there are a couple of choices that one could make depending on the tone one wants. The backgrounds are made up of many png images and the control and decorations are the knobman files. PSD source files are included in a seperate file that needs to be downloaded if you want them. cheers.
