Which wavetables ?? :o Are you talking about Largo or Sylenth1 ??
Speaking about Sylenth  Lennard mentioned there would be some more available at some point in an update...

Again: Are you sure he mentioned "wavetables" or just waveforms ? That's a big difference. Wavetables can be found in Waldorf synths or the PPG Wave and "standard" wavesforms are Saw, Square, Pulse, Sine or Noise. So far i only found the standard waveforms in Sylenth1. Maybe you mean digital single cycle waforms like in the Access Virus line. Those are no wavetables but just something like "spectral waveforms".

UPDATE: I guess you mean this thread: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... =wavetable

Here Rob Lee speaks about wavetables while Lennard talks about possible new waveforms. More or less what i figured out above.

Any new updates yet? I really hate when a developer ignores their customers interest for the product. All we wanna know is what is the situation at the moment. :?:

To quote DNA (sorry about that but the sarcasm is for LennarDigital):
"Posting takes time - a lot of it."

- Yeah, about 30 seconds to write "Hey guys there at the forum. Don't panic, update is on the way"...

"Probably Lennard is focusing on writing the code."

- Yeah, quite a bit of focusing! Over 6 months straight... :)

Lennard provides excellent support when a customer has a problem.

He has answered all the questions people nag him about regarding future updates. He has even asked people to leave him alone and let him work.

If I'm irritated by people posting nags and rants that have already been addressed, I can imagine the developer is even more sick of it.

Let's have a little patience and respect for the developer, OK?

So the long known Memory Leak Bug is fixed?

I understand that people should be patient but a Bug like that should have been fixed pretty quick ;)

That's not a bug, that's Godzilla… On a serious note I do believe Lennard's working on a permanent fix, it's just not his policy to discuss. In appreciation for a great synth I will wait patiently. I recently went auditioning some of the presets Lennard's designs in between coding and they are fantastic, internet and instant satisfaction is a conundrum for coders and those most likely going it alone. So, we and Lennard, I'm sure, are aware of the memory bug and it will be fixed, it is probably a daunting and time consuming task and the fact he makes appearances to design sounds for his supporters speaks volumes for me thank you. There will be a day this great synth doesn't have this bug bugging us. I can't hold the fact he appears more private then other coders against him it his way of interacting that is fine.

On a side note and this should be in a different forum, I would appreciate some more plucked/pizzicato saw leads…you can ignore that request if you like.

So what was the time line with Sylenth update?

I'm with D-Fusion on that 1.

This is a MAJOR bug that needed to be fixed ASAP, not ignored for 6+months..

Lennard said it will be in the next update. If he'd release a new version right now with just the memory leak fixed, there will be all this 'boohoo why did we have to wait so long for just this bug fix, where are the new skins that you promised' etc, so, yeah, I do see why Lennard is not releasing just that fix alone (although I do agree that it would have been best if he'd fixed that at first, released it as the 'final', totally bugfree version and THEN started on the skinning)

Post

Maybe that's just what has happened.. Bug fix and new skins are taking much longer time he was expecting, now he can't release new update until both are done correctly.

I was just about to buy this synth, but I'm glad I found this thread. Sounds like this Lennard guy really is hard at work on a fix...that...or he has a really nasty coke habit and is laughing at the thought of all these people waiting over six months for a fix he never intends to release.

Don't let this thread fool you too much. If you have tried the demo and like the synth, my advice is you go and buy it ASAP. Lennard is highly respected developer and we know he is "one of the good guys".
Lennard is taking advice from Elvis "A little less conversation, a little more action please" But the action part needs a little more conversation I think :)
