maybe some bloated web ui crap integrated into the actual VST interface?

No, just a site with user logins so different people can upload stuff.

I'm certain that there are more slots for the mod matrix planned.
Urs mentioned it already.

12 slots if I remember correctly

and it is clear at this point that waveshapers is the overwhelming choice

Call me a fanboy, but I don't think Zebra has any flaws ;)

I voted for too much resonance on the XMF. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a flaw, but it limits its useful range (for my taste, of course). Not that important at all, really. If Urs starts messing with the XMF code he might take the opportunity to add a 2 pole LP mode, though :hihi:

You should be able to do that already. Set Large mode the "Look" button at the top right of the interface, then select the "Make Default" option from the same menu. Same goes for the skin.

Peace,
Andy.

Totally agree wit that !

I voted other. I dunno if this counts as a tweak though, coz the implementation might be surprisingly deep. From the user's point of view though, a tweak to the arp feature would be to save arp presets a la MSEG and Osc presets.

And if that's more than a tweak, there's another kinda arp-related tweak possible: I noticed when trying out MCnoone's presets that it got a bit tedious flipping through the presets while in arp view (to see how interesting / different each arp looked) then having to keep flipping back to the "global" tab to actually turn on the arpeggiator. Now I know you probably don't want to duplicate controls in multiple tabs, but it would actually make previewing optional arps easier.

This is deep, and has been requested often. I'll eventually do this... can'ts ay when though...

This can happen, too. The new user interface in Zebra2.5 is a few pixels wider, so it might be possible to squeeze the Mode control from the Global tab in here, too!

yes! i agree with this,

not that they are floored!

i would love some more "transient" sounding distortion inside Zebra

but i can get it outside of Zebra if needed :)

Unfortunately it doesn't.

Different gui sizes in plugins is still a really tricky thing. Some hosts, even popular ones, are just not yet there. I have thought about making this optional (like latency settings and gui editor etc.). But that's also rather a matter of general improvements than of Zebra-specific flaws in algorithms.

;) Urs
