something a bit like the XT1 chord comp but with some randomness on triggering, & strum?

would be nice... theoretically you could build one using my other plugins, but it would be a lot of work. i'll add it to my list.

I'm revisiting midiStrum in Bidule, and I can't get it to, um, strum. Dunno if it's a bug, or just me being thick.

Anyhoo, the symptoms are as follows: I have chords running into midiStrum with all notes coming in on the same channel on the same midi tick. When I have midiStrum set to "simple", audition set to "no", in and strum channels on "1", and out channel set to "as input", I hear my chord, but none of the strum controls have any effect. When I play a single note into midiStrum with these settings, nothing comes out.

Am I doing something wrong? I tried midiStrum earlier, and it affected the chords I was putting into it, but now, no dice. And should it not be allowing single notes through?

BTW, running the most recent release of midiStrum (from page 1 of this thread) and most recent (.9688) version of Bidule on OS X 10.5.6.

it sounds like you have it set up correctly, and at least it's working for me in other hosts on windows. if you can send me the bidule project before the demo expires (june 15th) i would like to test it there.

Will do! (BTW, single note not coming through was a user error on my part; my chord generator was turning off my main note generator also when I muted the chording group...doh!)

So quite around here lately...

there will be an update one of these days... nothing exciting though. trying to get them "finished" to where i can consider it an official release.

i'm updating the midiKeyboard plugin with a few new features.

Image

what's new:
- channel selector
- "grab QWERTY" button, gives keyboard focus to the keyboard (doesn't work in all hosts)
- velocity slider
- optionally use vertical click position for velocity ("Y" checkbox)
- "About" button gives further instructions
- right-click holds a note
- middle-click or ctrl-click ends all notes
- shift-click sets the base octave for QWERTY playing

hey Piz, I love yer midi plugs. I'm especially interested in the soma enveloper one that you are in progress with. My apologies if someone has mentioned this before but I haven't heard anything about it.

Is it in the pipeline soon? I checked yer website and couldn't see any infos on it.

Cheers,
VeX

Thanks for that piz! I was wondering, is this cross platform?

enveloper might be being updated?

its already a great plugin that i use to side chain all sorts of mad things that should not be side chain-able in XT 8)

can this plugin even get any better? :o

it could be, but i've only compiled it for windows. no one has asked for mac or linux versions, but i guess i should do them anyway.

Keyboard is cool, it's like that Trollo thing. I don't play with the keyboard but its cool that I could.

soma asked (many pages ago) if i could make something like his enveloper. i never finished it. my "midiAudioToCC" is sort of halfway there but needs some work and more features.

No no I was just wondering cause I figured Juce was auto xplat. Guess that would too much to ask for though ;). Still learning it...

What would be nice is for some more sourcecode. Say Mlooper :hihi:..
