Problems Installing Reaktor 5.1.5 on Receptor 1

My situation -

1. I own a copy of Reaktor 5 and have it running on my Mac.
2. Bought a Receptor 1 running OS 1.7. I want it to run Reaktor
3. Go to Muse website, am told Reaktor is Direct Installable only
4. Launch Direct Install, install Reaktor to Receptor 1
5. Reaktor launches

Two Problems

Problem 1: Reaktor wants to be authorized in the next 5 days
6. Reaktor gives me the option to authorize via service center
7. Go back to Direct Install
8. NI Service Center is only available for Receptor OS 1.8, which is only available for the Receptor 2, not the Receptor 1.

What am I doing wrong? If nothing, is there a workaround?

Problem 2: Reaktor's "Audio Setup" screen appears, asking me to select an audio setup for Reaktor, but there are no available entries under "Interface" or "Output Device". ???

Problem 1:
Try looking on the Muse site on the updates page. At the bottom there is download for NI service center which looks like the old one for Receptor 1. It may not be the latest but I don't think that will matter.

Problem 2: Don't know but maybe related to problem 1. See what happens after you get it authorizied.
