I am unable to load presets that I create. I'm using sylenth 1.2.1 in Abelton 8. I'm still able to load various soundbanks that I've purchased, but every time I load one of the ones I created, it shows the name of the preset in the abelton device manager but the sound is just whatever preset was loaded before.

Any ideas as to what and or why this is happening?

Why are you using such an old version ? I'd upgrade to the latest one first, tons of bugs got fixed and I'm pretty sure this will solve your problem as well.

if you already own sylenth then why not just update to v2.2?

Hi,

I have a similar problem. I'm unable to load ANY preset in Sylenth in Logic 8. When I open the plugin, it does not show any presets. The sound that it plays is the standard Acid sound from the Factorybank presets though. When I click 'load setting' I cannot load the factorybank.fxb files because they are grey and unclickable. Anyone know what the problem is?

Are you trying to load presets into Sylenth1 via Logic's preset management system? If so, that might be your problem. Logic can only handle Apple's .aupreset format natively. Try loading your sounds from the Sylenth1 GUI (via the "MENU" menu in the central display).
