... and then suddenly, in my favourite thread, at my favourite forum, for my favourite one-man-company, and my favourite synthesizzzzzer, my favourite bass player turns up. This is getting better by the minute. :hihi:

Alex also plays bass? (sorry, couldn't resist)

He's recently been mumbling about synth patches a lot... must be because he got a special edition "Borsig Werke" Zebra for his last birthday

Post

Last time I saw Alex he was stroking 'Dexter' the 'Lemur' very gently so I guess his love for synthesized animals (like Zebra) have grown a lot since the 80's. :)

- affirmative
- after release of Zebra 2.5
- we've been talking Septemberish
- I'll know more tomorrow night (J & U have dinner with D & A)

(just thinking... releasing a patch set with a New York theme by a member of Einstürzende Neubauten might be a little strange if done in September...)

They've got some really cool music. I used to listen to them years ago but lost track of them. Thanks for reminding me.. I may check out some of their new stuff :)

Silence, my brother! Don't spill the details just yet.
Even though it's going to be mighty cool, I'd say...

I already have a silence patch set. Will there be others?

New York theme?

I know I'm missing the point, but there are so many interesting noises here... Been recording all sorts of goodies. Just need time to cut up and map out.

There is none... it's work in progress... but there is a google adwords campaign that shows a tiny part of an early draft...

Woohoo. And there I was thinking I was just being cheeky.

Careful! That's almost like committing to a release date for 2.5.

A little strange or just in poor taste to make the connection? ;-)

Just wondering, are there any audio demos of the updated sound engine yet?
