The medicinal applications have been mostly ignored in VSTs.
I want a VST which will create a frequency to shatter kidney stones.
Failing that, howzabout a new-concept Frippian-looper with advanced MIDI control/learn (to support MIDI foot pedals like FCB1010), sort of a Elotronnix on steroids and acid simultaneously.
Maybe a paradigm-changing Wiimote app also. The sky's the limit.

One thing that would be quite cool is if a plugin could imitate the sound of tired metal breakage.

How about a scaled-down version of this...
The Hypnos Vocoder - Brainwave Entrainment Device
http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1434.html
The original costs $800!! I'm always looking for a shortcut to Nirvana, but I'm too poor for VST-mediated enlightenment.

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

If there exists something like this point me in that direction, here's the basic idea. Midi vst recorder to use in a modular host (like Bidule) for notes and cc's that has the option to synch to the host or ignore the host. Muliple recording channels or tracks that could synch to first track or ignore it. Each track assignable to a different midi channel. Basically a midi version of the Mobius looping device which is based on the Echoplex Digital Pro.
thanks for looking

A "drumcoder", kind of like a drum synth/sampler and vocoder all-in-one synth. There are various ways to achieve this already through different routing and effect chains, and maybe there even is a plugin like this already, or plugins that can achieve something like this (Alchemy?). I've always liked the steel drum sound as well as exotic type percussion like the conga/bongos etc and also xylophone mallet type pitched percussion. I know you can sample these and there are sample libraries available. You can also take one sound and put it into a sampler and stretch it across the keys. But what if you used two synth type sounds (one percussive and one tonal) or a percussion sample and a synth tone, and vocoded it to achieve the illusion of pitched percussion to get you varieties of steel drum/xylophone type tones and every experimental percussion sound in between. Add in an arp, sequencer, LFOs/mod, effects, and import of samples and you got a cool little percussion synth. But I guess the quality of the vocoder is the hard part right?

hi,
I write a script for VSTLua (a midi-fx / utility like SuperMidiScripter).
my script is very long (about 1000 rows) and offers good possibilities of live performers.
Can I partecipate to DC with a script for another program?
probably it may be consider as a file for SynthEdit..., I think.

Every time I think I'm tired of these effects and instruments, something with a fresh new spin comes and wake me up again.stanlea wrote:But please, no more delays, feedback and repeatlers ! I'm fed up with all these things.

I think someone needs to make a really good Speak&Spell Vst(i) emulation. I know I see constant requests for this or samples of a Speak & Spell. I think it would be cool. This could be something right up xoxos alley.(Hint hint)
Just my 2 cents.(that's US. So it's .02 in british pounds)
