Hi folks,

We have a new build (1.9.9.3) for the VSTi. This build has the following updates:

1. Fixes the crashes during user interface loading
2. Fixes the crash that occurs when 88.2k/96.k is selected as sampling rate.
3. The plugin id is changed, so it is different from SynthMaster 1.0
4. If you set the Log property to Debug inside the Config/SynthMasterConfig.txt file, SynthMaster will record some debugging information inside the Logs/SynthMasterLog.txt file.

Still I have no cure for the Fruity Loops/EnergyXT/Cantabile/Chainer UI not showing issue though. Until I figure out, just use Reaper folks if you can

Good luck ! Could you provide a few more presets to understand the logic of programmation ?

Nice with a new GUID but after unRaring and placing the updated beta files and folders in a VSTPlugin-subfolder I can't get Reaper to find it. If I remove SyntMaster version 1 I can't find any SynthMaster in the plugin list in Reaper anymore. Except... if I use the manual link to an older SynthMaster beta I saved in MyFolders before installing this one. With the difference it hasn't got a name any more. Like in this picture:

The effect-plugins is still available since I renamed the version 1 to something not ending in .dll but not touching the effects version.

If you have the time and possibility, could you please try to confirm if it's turning up in your Plugin list in Reaper after a total 'Clear Cache and Rescan' in Preferences -> Plugins -> VST ?

Just tested with Reaper. The plugin name is SynthMaster 2.0 Instrument, and loads fine.

Ok. Not fully there. If I remove the SynthMaster v1 completely and rescan the plugins in Reaper, the version 2 turns up in the list. If I then move back the SynthMaster v1 folder into the plugin folder structure the beta version is not available anymore. Any ideas what it could be? Name clashes?

Here are my findings (Vst Version):

- Problem with slow gui and sometimes the Synthmaster Logo get screwed on redraw.

- Very high latency while playing the Synth (Note played takes almost 1.sec to make a sound)

- Extremely high cpu usage and lots of crackling and burping in the sound Specially when i set the buffer size in Synthmaster to short or Medium.

My testing system is:

Windows XP Sp3 with all the latest updates, Intel Q6600 (Quad core), M-Audio Audiophile 2496, Ati Radeon 3850, 4GB of DDR-2 Ram.

I Tested it in Synapse Orion 7.6 with Asio @ 128samples latency.

That's not normal. I'll debug that tonight.

I'm gonna test it with 128 buffer size with Orion tonight.

VST version (1.9.9.3) not showing in Cubase 4 not in chainer. ( makes sound though)

Standalone seems to work

Hi,
if you find the time for doing presets

perhaps you could have a look at the mod sources.
Not sure if I'm overlooking something, but there are 4 LFOs selectable as sources in the synth section. Synth LFO1 and 2 are the GlobalLFO and LFO3 and 4 doesn't seem to be routed at all.

Could it be that the 4 Modulators are missing in the menues for the sources??

Just a quick find - as already reported, the new beta vst loads fine in Reaper and Orion. Doesn't in Zynewave Podium (shows, but just a small square, and you can't see the gui or edit anything.)
