Surely if it can be anything, then it's nothing in particular. Did I miss a meeting?

Post

Is the question retorical?

So what happens when 2 or more "dubsteps" are converged? Better yet is it still a dub at half a step?

:P

Thankfully. One is quite enough
I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

Can't ppl just stop labeling everything?...
I think it is just ridiculous to do so.

[Q] 'this sounds great! what kind of music is this?' [Q]

Dubstep is a fusion of Electronica, 2 step UK Garage & Dub!

They may sample other styles or take in other influences but in general the above is it's 3 main direct influences!

Has it got Disco, Electro Funk, Soul, Hi NRG or Rock influnces, I doubt it!

So no, I don't agree.

Maybe a bit of Jungle/Drum & Bass but that comes in with the 2 step UKG influences as part of 2 step UK Garage as D&B/Jungle influenced 2 step.

My opinion! 8)

Probably ppl want to get their music ISO 900 certified? A clear description and labelling is a must to pass the audit :-)

As we have learned in this thread it is dub step anyway.

:D

That's funny as F@*K, he says 'Can't ppl just stop labeling everything?...', and then says 'this sounds great! what kind of music is this?'

So he then asks for a label to the genre, so he knows what it is!

To answer your question would be labeling and that is a ridiculous thing to do, So I am not going to tell you that it's Dubstep! :)

Hang about, is that a quote by Man-T from someone else or a question by Man-T himself, because if it's a quote the joke is on me? What does [Q] mean, quote or question?
