I still love this and find new reasons to love this all the time, but sometimes it freezes my whole system completely, which requires a forced power off (Ctrl+Alt+Del won't work).

Still I also understand... short term pain/long term gain and I will be of course a supportive customer.
DO you use bitbridge ?
...it can cause such crash...which only is solved with a reboot...
Otherwise I think...you should be able to close the program in task manager...however bitbridge...freeze the whole system.

No Bitbridge here...

I was experiencing this problem initially when using their installer, which we believed would leave out certain files, but even with the manual install I still occasionally experience a complete system freeze. It's only with Aether that this happens. Thankfully it's not a frequent problem, but still unpleasant all the same.

We have sent out an initial test version to some private testers today... more info to follow...

elxicano: did you receive Denis's email?

Hi,

I've just received the "Aether 1.0.1 Release"-Mail. :)

Is there any change log I might have missed?

Cheers,

It's further down in the e-mail. It was in mine at least.

Yes sir, I've installed 1.01 and it's really cool. It seems way faster to load the GUI. I also like a lot the new Indigo small GUI. The browser is neat, you can have a complete view at the presets, and they load super fast.

I am very happy with this update.

Great job Galbanum!

Thanks! Just to be clear we should say thanks "2CAudio" or thanks "Denis and Andrew". Denis did an amazing job on this update and deserves a lot of credit. And we both obsessed over it for countless hours to get it just about perfect... (knock on wood...)

Now we can continue and work on fun stuff like new features... ;-) We have some killer ones in mind and already in development...

Behavior in 64 bit hosts is officially "unknown" in this version BTW. We have varying reports on this. Sonar 64 seems fine according to most testers. Cubase and Nuendo 64bit do not seem to be happy, but it may work with jBridge. This is mentioned in known issues.

Our next update will formally address 64bit hosts and do things properly/natively for 64bit hosts.

For now I work in C5 in 32 bit because of many VSTs that are still in 32. But I am looking forward to 64bit all the way, so 64 bit will be welcome here!

That's good news,

Again but more accurately,

Congratulations Andrew and Denis for the update!
