Can anyone confirm that dfx's Geometer does not retain it's settings when tracktion is reloaded, or attempting to save a preset. It definately works in other hosts.
I think for the time being I can work around this by loading it thru eXT. Just wanted to get that out there... since it's a great FREE tool for the experimentalist.

I've become resigned to being unable to use Tracktion and Unity Session, at least until there are some updates to one or both programs. Is anyone else trying to use Unity Session 3.2.2 with Tracktion on OSX 10.3.X? Bitheadz tech support hasn't responded to my bug report yet.

Well, two bugs I simply have to ask about in the hope you can fix them...:jules wrote: ...does anyone still have any problems that I might actually be able to do something about?
1-Kontakt 151 in XP. Nearly works, but depending on the zoom resolution (It seems), and if the "Smooth Scrolling" option's on, it plays its assigned midi track in a very choppy sort of way...and cracking even gets in there...(oh, and yes, only one instrument in K151...no overloading type of usage...)
2-XPhraze...doesn't seem to want to load its patches or anything...loaded them somewhat hesitantly once after a few tries, but didn't want to again...
Looking forward to knowing whether this is striclty all Plug problems (although I'm sure to some extent it must be...)
Thanx

I've noticed that if I use ni battery, tracktion gives me a "application has unexpectedly quit", when I quit intentionally. This also happened in intuem, for sure due to battery, but was fixed in the newest update. I'm not dead sure it is battery, as it isn't specifically mentioned in the crash log, like it was for intuem, but it looks so similar, it would almost have to be. kj.

I downloaded the new battery update, and although I haven't had a chance to use it much yet, it didn't quit unexpectedly. I'm still using os 10.2.8, so maybe that has something to do with it. Thanks, kj.

WHen using the VG Electric FX as effect plugin and moving the wahwah-fader my system completely locks up!!! Mouse, harddrives... everything! Very annoying since it's working fine under CubaseSX1.06
I tried it 2 times and both times, same results. I needed to power-shutdown my system.

I have a strange one, I cannot use Eve in Tracktion.I drop Eve into a track and it does not even show midi input, if I open the synth interface and click on the virtual keyboard it plays no problem but no response to a midi keyboard.
I have left the track as is and used the swap filter option and it plays no problem with any other vsti.
I have even opened another plugin first and then swapped to Eve, no response.
Any thoughts ?

That's odd. I've never ever ever had any problem playing EVE in Tracktion. Mutilple instances and all. I'm wondering if you should reinstall EVE? Did you by any chance install from the CD and just got a bad one? Do you have any other host you can try EVE in? Or try opening a demo of Chainer or something and playing EVE in that...otherwise--??? I dunno ???
Good luck!

Yes, I use Eve regularly in Orion Platinum and Computer Muzys and no problems.
Both of these hosts have quirks I dont like and I am searching for a good home base, Tracktion (trial version) has been a real joy so far but I use Eve for most piano sounds and it is a must.

That'll take a bigger brain then mine, then. I have a feeling someone will post a simple answer and I'll learn something I should have known already. Anyway, you can create a midi clip with another plug, switch to EVE and EVE will play? I assume it would since you can play EVE with it's own keyboard. Just trying to narrow things down a bit in case I trip over an idea...
I too use EVE for all my piano sounds.
