Rob, do you remember what parameters you were playing with before the crashes?rob_lee wrote:Iv'e had to delete Synthmaster from my systemway too many crashes.spending more time rebooting than designing any sounds..sorry mate i thought this was already beta tested and ready for the sound design..it's a shame coz it's a nice synth.

And I was able to reproduce the 128 buffer size problem with FL8.
Looking forward to see how well it works in Orion @ 128 samples now

Well, the thing is, I tested with Orion at 128 buffer size, even at different sampling rates (44, 48, 96k). They ALL work OK. No corruption at all.D-Fusion wrote: Great

I also tested with Cantabile, and the standalone version. No problems. The only problem is with Fruity Loops. I remember they had a different implementation with buffering...
BTW, my audio card is M-Audio Firewire Solo (ASIO drivers)

Well, I'll have to edit the UI, using the GUI builderFragileX wrote:Now if you can give me a hint on how to access the (Global) synth LFO 3&4 [using standalone now] - thanks

OK that's enough of a hintkv331 wrote:Well, I'll have to edit the UI, using the GUI builderFragileX wrote:Now if you can give me a hint on how to access the (Global) synth LFO 3&4 [using standalone now] - thanksOr let me teach you, and you do that
Having looked into the editor I could probably add the missing elements but i never could come up with a useful design - so i'll let that for graphic artists ...
Now looking forward to the plugin version and making some noises.

With a couple of copy/pastes on the GUI editor I added synth (global) LFOs 3/4 to the UI!FragileX wrote: OK that's enough of a hintthanks

Well, see if you can dream up a way around having to re-enter the reg. codes with each new build.
When I unzip to the Synthmaster folder I get a winzip error so I have to trash and reinstall.
How's everyone else doing it?

That's odd. Winzip/Winrar overwrites the existing files. I am not sending you my SynthMasterLicenceKey.txt file, so it shouldt be overwritten.Gothboy wrote:Well, see if you can dream up a way around having to re-enter the reg. codes with each new build.![]()

Make sure SynthMasterLicenceKey.txt file is not trashed when you delete your files.

Yes, it's running now in FLStudio and Chainer.
Presets of SynthMaster 1 don't work in version 2.
It's not possible to load both versions together at the same time. There may only be ONE SynthMaster.dll loaded at the same time.
Renaming gives errors.
Can you change the file names for version 2 that version 1 can be loaded like before? I can't load old projects with version 1 if version 2 is active!

VST Working !
I'm still having trouble with setting Engine Quality vs. Buffer Size on both versions.
Engine Quality Normal will take any buffer size no problem.
Engine Quality 2 & 3 scream with any buffer changes.
Otherwise everything else looks great from here so far, including sample rate to 192, and saving presets and projects. Great stuff!
And just a functional question, what does the 'have to have the same number of segments' mean. I can kind of guess... I'd love to try that morphng stuff knowing what I'm doing. This is going to be a blast for this wavetable sythesis.

I'm having hardcore cpu consumption on even Tunafish, I'm not having as much of an issue with latency though. I'll test it in Mu.Lab tomorrow probably.
Does it store anything in the registry?

What soundcard/driver are you using, and at what buffer size?
Thanks!
