Well, I'm guessing that everyone who's going to vote has done so by now.
Has anyone else been keeping a tally of the scores? By my reckoning it's T1000 followed by Z-Maschine, then Speil Motor, with Metroswitch and Robottom End close behind.
So, barring a last minute surge in voting (which now seems pretty unlikely), I think it's safe to congratulate the winner: T1000 from MCnoone
As Z-Maschine was mine and I organised this contest I think it would probably be best if I didn't accept the 2nd prize - it's perhaps somehow unseemly - so I would respectfully suggest that Urs gives the 2nd and 3rd prizes to hellleutel (for Speil Motor) and mrgrimm (Metroswitch).
FWIW my vote would have been T1000, Speil Motor and Metroswitch, but maybe not in that order
- very difficult to choose, but T1000 possibly had the edge just because of the amount of stuff going on with the XY pads.

And on to the next competition...
Right, this task is very simple. It's a free style competition (any genre/style of patch) the only specification being that a maximum of three modules within the voice mix matrix (AKA the 'sound generation rack' - the 4 columns underneath the preset name when viewing in 'synthesis mode') and three within the effects ('global mix') channels can be used
So, any patch type, but using no more than three sound generation modules and three effects modules.
The closing date for submissions will be a week this coming Sunday (9th? August).
I haven't quite decided how submissions will be made. I was thinking of using a collaborative online folder - Box.net offer this, but Box isn't universally available (it's blocked in some countries), and I'm not so keen on Megaupload, so if anyone has any suggestions?
Anyway, if no-one has any further considerations/objections I'll make this the 'official' second contest and post it as a new thread tomorrow.

this means I am in the top three with my spielMotor?! How great is that, thanks for the votes!
BTW has anyone noticed spielMotor is an anagram of "Metropolis"?
see you all

An "executive decision" about terminology (to be rejected only by massive protest
):
plus these:
Left panel: VOICE RACK
Right panel: CONTROL RACK
Bottom panels: GLOBAL/FX TAB etc..
