MFM 2 stunning

Just bought MFM 2 the other day and immediately felt guilty. My bookings are way down this season and, really, in the middle of a depression, do I need still another delay? Being a life long sucker for delays and reverbs of all sorts, I already have the Wave multitap delays, the incredible Echoboy plug, the Uhbik delay and others that came with Protools and Reaper.
Ok. Several of the presets were cool right off the bat but not enough to battle down a bad case of buyer's remorse. Tweaking was a bit confusing and my results were not great, to be honest. Well this morning I broke down and did something I hate to do: I read the manual. Good lord! Tweaker's heaven! This thing is flat out brilliant! I can use it in so many ways with the kind of documentary sound track work I do. Gorgeous textures and depth.
Thanks Urs, an amazing piece of work!

Urs didn't have time to update the link on his site but if you want a better version of the manual try this:
http://rapidshare.com/files/262652040/u ... l.zip.html
It's the same manual, in pdf format, but with better formatting.

Yeah, RapidShare sucks!
I just register an account on sendspace, I think there's no limit on this one:

Let me know if something's wrong or you have suggestions for a better manual.

I've got to spend some time with that manual. Of all my plugs it's one that seems the least obvious to tweak. I can't wrap my head around that UI...

Yeah...I didn't have any luck at all until I read the manual. The manual is well done and organized nicely. It took me about a half hour of reading and fooling around then it all made sense.

FYI:
I have downloadable files and mp3s connected with forum posts on box.net. Some have been up for a couple years and still get downloaded from time to time (you get a notice when it's downloaded). it's free, to a point
i hate reading a really helpful post only to find the d/l is no longer available

same here, but so far still only used MFM2 for relatively simple stuff. It's one of only 2 or 3 really great delays out there
