Remote Control eats midi cc?

Hi,
i ve downloaded "Remote Control" (demo) to control my external synths in ableton.

If i do a filter sweep with "Remote Control" i get audible gaps.
There are actually no gaps if i use the ableton midi cc envelope controller.
I think this happens because there are only 100 cc steps ("Remote Control" is using 0%-100% as slider values, instead of 0-127).
And i cannot move the slider smoothly (i have changed the response parameter in the global setting (input and output), but it shows no effect).

Are there any solutions?

Hi,

thanks for giving a try to our plugin. Even though it shows 100 values (%), the MIDI output has 127 steps as any MIDI controller. If you want to move the knobs with better precision, you can hold the shift key and you will be able to move them more smoothly.

One possible difference between the controller embedded in Live and our plugin is the rate of MIDI messages. Our plugin is limited by the audio rate (it is an audio plugin). One way to improve this is to reduce the audio latency (you can change it in Live's preferences). If the latency is short enough you should not hear steps anymore.

Thanks for the quick reply!

The "shift key" is the solution for that problem.
Now i can see why the values have a decimal format ^^
